Building a Tech Solution for Rural Women

Maya Tech Solutions started with a simple question: How can we help women in rural Nepal access market information and training without traveling for hours?

The problem

Many women entrepreneurs in remote areas have limited internet, older phones, and low digital literacy. We couldn't just build a fancy app—we had to build for real constraints.

Designing for reality

We used lightweight pages, offline-first features, and voice options. We partnered with local cooperatives to spread the word. Iteration was slow but necessary.

Impact so far

Over 500 women have used our platform to access training, price information, and buyer contacts. The feedback keeps us improving. Tech for good isn't a slogan—it's a design principle.
